How To Print
Choose Your Aspect Ratio
Depending on the frame you want to use, you will need to pick the aspect ratio and size to print. Use this guide to help you determine what size to print. For example, if you want to frame your artwork in an 18 × 24 inch frame, you need the 3×4 ratio file.
Choose How You Want to Print
There are several resources available to print your artwork. You can print at home, use a local printing company, or my recommended option, an online print service. Here are a few to choose from:
- Printicular – A Walgreens print partner; often same-day pickup or ship to home.
- Mpix – An easy-to-use online photo lab that usually offers great discount codes.
- Vistaprint – Another affordable online photo lab with several print size options.
You can also use the photo labs at popular office supply stores like CVS, Staples, and Office Depot. Shipping stores usually also offer printing services, such as FedEx Office or UPS. These stores often provide more flexibility with sizing, and you can ask for custom sizes that might not be offered through online services.
Ultimately it’s up to you to decide which service is right for you! I hope this guide helps provide some insight and ideas on how to print your artwork. Please reach out to me if I can answer any questions.
